Using Yomika
Yomika is a free kana practice tool for focused hiragana and katakana drilling. You may use it for personal learning and practice. Yomika is not a formal course, certification program, or professional language service.
Copyright And Ownership
Yomika's original app text, design, and code are protected by copyright. Kana characters and general Japanese language facts are not owned by Yomika. Third-party libraries remain governed by their own licenses. These terms do not grant permission to copy, redistribute, or use Yomika's name or branding except as allowed by law or separate permission.
Local Data
Practice settings, lifetime stats, daily history, timed history, and preferences are saved in your browser storage. You are responsible for exporting your data if you want a backup or want to move it to another browser. Clearing browser/site data can delete your saved practice data.
Feedback
If you submit feedback, you give permission to read it, store it, and use it to improve Yomika. Please do not submit private information, passwords, payment details, or anything you do not want reviewed.
Donations
Support links may open Ko-fi or another third-party donation service. Donations are optional and do not unlock features. Third-party services have their own terms, privacy policies, fees, and payment handling.
Acceptable Use
Do not misuse Yomika, interfere with the service, attempt to bypass limits or security, submit abusive or unlawful content, or use automated traffic in a way that harms availability for others.
No Warranty
Yomika is provided as is and as available. The kana data and app behavior are intended to be useful, but errors, interruptions, data loss, or changes may happen.
Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Yomika and its creator are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or service interruptions.
Changes
These terms may be updated as Yomika changes. If the app adds accounts, cloud sync, paid features, or other materially different behavior, these terms should be updated before those features are launched.
